A week after Wakin
20 Concert in Malaysia (14/07/07), I was at my hubby's grandparents'
house to celebrate his grandma's 83rd birthday. After all
the dinner and cake cutting ceremony, I started to wonder
if they would have kept the newspaper article about Wakin's
concert. I managed to find it and was excited. While my hubby
was teasing me about my excitement, his 83-year-old grandpa
added "This Chou Wah Kin, sang 4 & 1/2 hours in that
concert. Really good-lah! Can still sing!" I was thinking
"Whoa, Old Grandpa also admires Wakin?"
Just when the concert
ended, my cousin sister and uncle came up to me and said "Wow,
the concert is so enjoyable! It's really worth it!" I
couldn't help but to grin from ear to ear. Appreciating Wakin's
hard work comes naturally to every die-hard fan. Hearing those
word of appreciation from non-fans are even more precious!
At those moments, I knew my choice were right. There's no
doubt that the choice had always been right from the start.
Wakin did not only
bring joy through his music. Through him, I got the chance
to gain new friends 4 years ago. Till today, we've been the
best of friends. Others might think we only talk about Wakin
during our gatherings. The fact is, we talk about everything
under the sun! We had many new experiences and adventures
together. It's amazing how well we all click together regardless
of age. Of course, when we talk about Wakin, we get especially
excited and we'll get glares from people at the other tables.
From total strangers
to friends that will go through thick and thin. I'm glad we've
met. It might sound a bit mushy but you gals are friends that
I will die for...你們永遠是我的好朋友!
