My favorite singer is Emil Chau Wakin. There's nothing unusual about it you think. But I'm a French Canadian and I don't speak Chinese.

The first time I heard Emil was in the movie "Who am I?" The first cd with Emil I bought was a cd with many artists with the song from the movie. It was a funny version, Emil was talking and laughing through the song. Very cute!

I immediately found that he has a great personnality. I went to Chinatown and bought the cd "Friends." This song made me cry. Since then I never stop listening to Emil, it was Nov. 98. I listen all the time to Emil's cd. He has a warm voice. As I don't understand the words, I can say he sings with his heart, you feel the emotion through the song when you listen to him. Maybe that's why it's so pleasant to hear him sing. It is not only singing but emotions, it is what makes a great artist and HE IS.

Emil is a good actor too. He made progress in each movie he has done. In "Purple Storm" he is good as any other actors. I think he could become a very good one if he has a good script and director.

I like the man too. He is first, a family man. Watching him in documentaries about tours, he is a man who cares about the people around him. He's sensitive, sensible and very professional. He has the great quality of being humble and true. He's a great performer too.

I discover a great artist, Emil Chau Wakin, and he's a great man too. This is what makes him SPECIAL this is why I love him.
