I am glad to say that I finally had the chance to witness Wakin's live performance! (he came to Malaysia recently to promote his latest album-Day Lilies). Needless to say, it was a breathtaking one. Though I could only watch him from afar, his pristine vocal, coupled with his wry sense of humor made it worthwhile after waiting for nearly two hours before he appeared on stage.

Although it was raining all through the show, the weather failed to dampened our spirit. It was all the more heart-warming when Wakin decided to stand further out on the stage under the rain.

His performance was superb. His occasional spell of forgetting the lyrics was kept to the minimum, although he really tickled everyone pink when he forgets his lyrics. It was really great, hearing him live, especially the unplugged part, when he strummed his guitar...that was really fantastic...

Actually this is not the first time I have seen him in person. Two years ago, when he came to Malaysia to promote his album-Now, I went too, but that was just an autograph session not a live performance. I really hope that he would come to Malaysia again, or rather, I hope to attend his concert if I have the chance to do so. That would really be an unforgettable experience!
