Me? I "felled in love" with Emil just last year - 2001. To be honest, I really regretted not knowing this guy earlier. Anyway, I've always heard of this singer called Zhou Hua Jian ever since I was young. Actually, I thought he was one the heavenly kings, coz he was so popular during that time. To how I liked him, read on... ...

It all started laz year (when I was 12) after the final year exams. I was very free everyday, so I watched lots of TV. At that time, Emil was promoting his new album, Day Lilies, so I kept seeing the him on the screen. The song he was singing "Any Song Reminds You Of Me" caught my attention immediately, and at that time I don't know why, but I juz felt this guy was special. I listened to the album, Day Lilies day and night. Boy, doesn't he sound good? So I went on the internet to search for more information about him, then learnt that he was married with two kids, his biography, and juz how successful he was. Only then I knew Emil was the "Killer Of The Heavenly Kings". Gosh! This guy was even more successful than I could imagine anyone be. Now that I'm 13, Emil has became my idol. I went on to buy his album even though I could juz download it. One more gd thing is, I know Cantonese so I listen also to Emil's cantonese songs which are sound equally nice. I don't know why, but Emil's juz different from other singers. I mean I do listen to other Chinese singers, but Emil's still the best. He doesn't go around scantily dressed, or sings songs with no meaning. In fact, from each song you can tell he puts his heart & soul into it. And Emil has a different approach to his songs. The songs he sings are mostly slow pace, but with a really catchy tune and words filled with meaning. One more thing, although he is 41, he is still so handsome!

One thing - I juz lurve Emil Chau.
