I started listening to Wakin's songs when I was still studying. I was only seventeen then. I fell in love with 'Love follows us'. It was also the first time I fell in love with a guy and he bought this CD album for me.

Since then, I have been updating myself with Emil's new albums and news about him. I love his voice. Whenever I listen to his songs, I felt so comfortable. I listened to his songs as I was revising my homework and exams without fail. His songs really perked me up with energy for the day.

I like the way he sings and dances. It is so natural. He reminds me of my younger days when I used to imagine that I am a singer, singing and dancing on my parents' bed.

My dad knows that I am a great fan of him. Without fail, he will seize all opportunities to record any MTV or concert shows that features Emil.

For the past two years, Emil rested. I was waiting and waiting for his new album. Alongside, many traumatic events happened in my family and I had not been as happy as I was till Wakin reappeared again with "Day Lilies". Without realising it, Mum & I were smiling once again while watching his MTV.

I am leaving for Australia for studies soon. I will definitely miss many of his events in Singapore for the next 2 years or so. So, as shy as I am, I picked up the courage to attend his autograph performance sessions for the new album. I truly enjoyed the two outdoor autograph events. My happiest moment was when I really got to shake his hand and tell him "I have finally met you face to face".

Here is something for Wakin: When you stop singing, my heart will stop singing too. All the way, Wakin! ;)
